How to use the SetIPTV app
This guide covers the normal workflow after an authorised playlist has been activated: navigation, favourites, search, EPG and basic maintenance.
Open SetIPTV, wait for the playlist to load, select Live TV, Movies or Series, choose a category and open an item. Use the star or favourite command to save content and refresh the playlist when your provider updates it.
Understand the main sections
- Live TV: channel groups and current programmes.
- Movies and Series: on-demand categories supplied by your authorised service.
- EPG: programme times and descriptions when guide data is available.
- Favourites: a shorter list of channels or titles you use often.
- Settings: playlist refresh, language, player and parental-control options.
Everyday use
Use categories instead of scrolling through the entire list. Search by the exact channel or title name. To improve stability, close unused apps, prefer Ethernet or strong 5 GHz Wi-Fi, and avoid repeatedly refreshing while a large playlist is importing.
Playback problems
If one item fails, test another before changing settings. If everything fails, confirm the Internet connection and account status, then restart the app. Do not share screenshots containing playlist URLs, usernames, passwords or device identifiers.
